Since creating his first film at age 9 with his best friend, his dedication to storytelling has been unwavering. His studies at Cal State Fullerton’s Radio/TV/Film program ignited a passion for documentary filmmaking, leading him to craft over 900 wedding films. His career began at Brea Improv, where he made demo reels for comedians, and has since expanded to include training videos, seminars, and commercials, amassing over 25 years of experience in filming and editing.
Awarded Best Wedding Videographer in Orange County by The Knot from 2007-2010, his work has appeared in Brides, Ceremony, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and Inside Weddings. He also hosts the Spotify podcast “Proggy,” celebrating progressive rock music. A filmmaker with a deep passion for his craft, he combines a background in managing record stores, and humor from The Improv comedy clubs to create compelling, memorable videos. His vibrant personality and storytelling dedication ensure that every moment is captured uniquely and meaningfully.
Mike lives in Anaheim Hills, California with his wife. He has made a second home in Idaho, after living there for four years, during and after the pandemic, and he loves traveling for weddings and for pleasure. He donates a portion of each job to the Husky Halfway House, a 501c rescue facility for Husky breed dogs. His pups Skye and Gracie are his constant companions at his home office.
